And the name...?

"Ginger"........

As an essential oil: "The oil of Empowerment. Ginger holds no reservations. This oil has a purpose and will fulfil it! Ginger powerfully persuades individuals to be fully present and participate in like. It teaches that to be successful in life, one must be wholly committed to it."....Taken from the book: Emotions and Essential Oils by Enlighten Healing.

As ginger works wonders on the gut, it is closely related to our power centre. No wonder it's the oil of empowerment!

Physical benefits:

* May help to support healthy digestion
* May help to reduce bloating, gas, and occasional indigestion
* May help reduce occasional nausea

As a food: Used to aid digestion, it is known to relieve nausea and morning sickness, soothes motion sickness, helps relieve swelling and pain, help sooth coughs, colic, heart palpitations, swellings, loss of appetite, inhibit vomiting and treat diarrhoea.

Infused into tea: amazingly refreshing, detoxifying qualities, adds a little zing to any bevy and is often deliciously available after class.

As a flower: Red, white, yellow, beautiful tropical flowers that grow in all sorts of shapes and sizes.

As a hair colour: Those with "ginger" or red hair are often known for their fiery energy, strength, determination, & dedication!

As a word: Has a lovely ring to it!

"Ki".........

Pronounced "Kee": The circulating life energy that in Chinese philosophy is thought to be inherent in all things.

In traditional Chinese medicine the balance of negative and positive forms in the body is believed to be essential for good health.

Also pronounced &/or spelled: "ch'i", "chi", "qi", and spelled "Ki" in Japanese.
