// Yoga Class //
Enjoy a 90 minute yoga class presented by Kylie Bertuch Haynes of Ginger Ki Yoga & Wellness, designed to support you and your partner through whatever stage of pregnancy you are at. Specific poses combined with breath allow you to open the body through lengthening, but will also work to maintain structure and support while you carry and connect with your growing baby.
Partners can also benefit from the calming and improved overall wellbeing effects yoga has to offer. Open to all levels, yoga can assist in birth preparation, help calm the mind and body for journey through pregnancy and birth, and also equip you with useful tools to use during labour and life beyond. Using asana (yoga poses), pranayama (breath work), meditation and essential oils, you will leave feeling nourished, connected and supported through this ancient holistic practice.
// Partner Training ‘Massage for Labour’ Workshop //
Massage can be used during birth to make it easier and more comfortable for the mother. During the 2 hour ‘Massage for Labour’ Workshop presented by Catherine McInerney, the couples will learn how to successfully use massage as a tool to relieve pain and discomfort during labour, while enhancing and nurturing the mother/partner/baby connections.
A well-prepared partner offering support through massage can be of great benefit and comfort to the labouring mother. During the workshop, you and your partner will learn how and when to apply massage for labour, and how to maximise birthing partner preparedness to support the labouring woman.
After the Workshop, the couples will have the option to enjoy individual massages.
